WELCOME AND KIT OVERVIEW

Let's start with an overview of the process to sculpt and paint your pieces, the materials in your kit, and how to set up your workspace.

PART 1: SCULPT YOUR POTTERY FROM AIR-DRY CLAY

Step 1: Sculpt the avocado body

Step 2: Add the avocado feet

Step 3: Add the avocado seed


Step 4: Smooth the surface of the avocado

Now it's time to sculpt the toast!

Step 5: Sculpt the toast body

Step 6: Add the toast feet

Step 7: Add the butter to the toast

Step 8: Smooth the surface of the toast

PART 2: LET YOUR POTTERY DRY

Step 9: You've sculpted your avocado and toast now, so next let them air-dry for at least 2 days

Once your pieces are dry, we'll paint them!

Step 10: Quickly confirm that your pieces are completely dry

PART 3: PAINT YOUR POTTERY

Step 11: Paint the front of the avocado yellow and the toast light brown

Step 12: Paint the second yellow coat on the avocado and the butter on the toast

Step 13: Paint the light green border on avocado and dark brown on toast

Step 14: Paint the brown avocado seed and top and bottom of the toast

Step 15: Paint the green avocado sides, back and feet

Step 16: Paint green top and bottom on avocado & black eyes and smiles on both

SEAL AND FINISH BOTH PIECES

Step 17: Paint the mod podge sealer and finish on the front, sides and back of both pieces

Step 18: This is the final step! Paint the mod podge sealer and finish on the tops and bottoms
